Are you interested in pursuing your pistol permit? We have you covered! CT Krav Maga & MMA is proud to offer NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting courses for individuals applying for their CT State Pistol Permit. Classes are taught by our certified NRA instructor, Dennis Hill.
Our pistol permit course is designed to teach the basic knowledge and skills and to explain the attitude necessary for safe handling and storage of guns in the home. Class sizes are limited to 4 people per session for individual attention and the classroom instruction is done in a comfortable setting in our studio.

CT Krav Maga & MMA's pistol permit classes are conducted in small groups. Our goal is to provide the individual attention necessary to promote a safe and effective learning environment.

What Can You Expect From Our Pistol Permit Course?
Our pistol permit classes are conducted in a single training day. The first half of the day is classroom instruction done at CT Krav Maga & MMA and the second half of the day is spent at the gun range. The gun range is local and your payment covers the cost of the range, ear/eye protection at range and classroom materials.
All firearms are also provided on the day of the training!
Approximately 1 week after successfully completing this course, you will be able to pick up your pistol permit course completion certificate. We can also mail it to you if preferred.
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course will include full instructor led training including:
- Firearm and range safety
- The 5 fundamentals of pistol shooting,proper hand grip
- Loading, unloading and pistol maintenance
- Shooting positions
