Metafit is a 30-minute, bodyweight-only, non-choreographed, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout. The program was created over a decade ago by a Royal Marine Commando in a bid to make HIIT more efficient and effective.

Our North Branford Metafit classes are more than a fat-burning workout, it’s a life-changing experience. Every class works you from head to toe, with a mixture of aerobic and anaerobic exercises. As a result, you’ll get stronger, more coordinated, limber, and energized.

Metafit aims to stick to true HIIT principles without venturing too far outside the high-intensity interval scope. Because this is partly dependent on the knowledge and delivery of a professional trainer, Metafit is a certified coach-led workout only.

MetaPWR sticks to our fundamental training principles and is a power circuit class using functional exercises to work muscle and boost your metabolism.  Different stations are set up to give you an amazing circuit training experience.

Staff here is wonderful. They are friendly, helpful, and truly have a passion for the classes they teach. Along with the martial arts classes, they also have kick boxing and kettlebell classes on the bottom floor. Definitely a place to check put if you are looking to change up your workout routine or learn Krav. Great classes for kids to learn the basics of Krav Maga and continue on to more challenging classes as they progress.

Where is CT Krav Maga & MMA Located?

We are located in the Farm River Village Plaza Route 80, in the same plaza as Anthony John’s Pizza and JCakes. Our address is 5 Foxon Road Suite 6, North Branford, CT 06471.

Do I Need Any Prior Experience?

Not at all! Our classes are completely progressive – meaning we teach you exactly everything you need to know to safely and effectively workout. We take great pride in being a “movement first” based system – meaning our first priority is safety and to helping you through each class.

Most people start first with MetaPWR and then advance to Metafit HIIT training once they have built up their endurance and strength.

What If I’m REALLY Out Of Shape?

When you join our Strength and Conditioning class, you become a part of something much greater than just a workout program. You become part of an incredibly supportive and encouraging community. I have helped literally thousands of people of all shapes and sizes get into the best shape of their life. Our system is progressive and will work for ANYONE who commits to it. You will never be expected to do more than what you are currently capable of, and unlike most other group fitness classes you will never feel embarrassed or left behind.

Do I Need To Bring Any Equipment To Class?

Nope! The CT Krav Maga & MMA is fully equipped with all of the equipment you will need – including the best kettlebells that money can buy! All you need to bring is yourself and a positive attitude!

Can I Bring a Friend?

Absolutely. Actually, we’ve found that beginners that start with a friend tend to get better results faster!
