Hey guys it’s Dennis and Ari from CT Krav Maga & MMA and we’re going to do a little Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for you. So I’m going to be on Ari’s back where I hold onto him and I take a seatbelt. We’re going to see that I’m gripping over here and I’m going a rear naked choke to him.
So, first thing is, as I hold onto Ari, you’ll notice that I’m going to start to go really tight to him. Start to make sure that I seal gaps over here. If Ari tries to reach for my hands, I could start to block and this will automatically … I can bring up for a hook here. As I roll to the side, on this side this is nice and tight. I want to make sure that I keep this here as I go around his head and I wrap here.
I keep everything tight and as I squeeze, there is the choke. So, you’ll notice that I’m not trying to put pressure on his throat. I am just putting pressure on his carotid arteries that run down from his earlobes. So here everything cinches really, really tight, and I hold. If this is happening, my hand can fight. Put my hands here. I start to bring him to the side. I hold. His had goes behind. As soon as I start to squeeze, I can feel that I have the choke on him.
