Hey, guys. My name is Brittany from CT Krav Maga & MMA. I am very excited to announce that I am going to be creating weekly blogs going over various fitness topics. Just a quick background about myself. I have been taking MMA-style boxing classes for about seven years, and I’m very passionate about weightlifting and body-building. I competed in one NPC Bikini competition so far, and I started instructing classes at CT Krav Maga & MMA.
All right, so here’s just quick overview of some things that I grabbed for the week. We’ve got some olive oil cooking spray, water. Very important to stay hydrated. I actually try to drink at least a gallon a day. We’ve got some zero-calorie sweetener packets. I like to use these in my coffee. This brand is one of my favorites.
For breakfast, I really like these oats. They are portioned out already, 100-calorie packs. There’s flax seeds in them. I really like this flavor. We have chickens, so I don’t purchase eggs at the store. We get them fresh every day. But I love to have some eggs and oatmeal for breakfast.
It’s always awesome to keep some easy, quick snacks on hands. These were on sale this week, so I grabbed some clementines. We’ve got some green beans. Decided to do something cool with eggplant this week. We’ve got some tomatoes, asparagus. These are awesome. They are actually mashed cauliflower, so their nutrition facts are pretty awesome, especially compared to mashed potatoes, so I love to use these in my prep. We’ve got some chicken drumsticks. I’m excited to make these this week, and this good-looking piece of steak was on sale, so I picked that up as well.
So see, you really don’t need to spend a crazy amounts of money. I spent about $40 and got all that healthy food. So tune in next week, where I will go over healthy snacks to keep at your office so you don’t fall off track while you’re at work.
